Gatsby Chapter 4
1.) Gatsby tells Nick the truth about his past because he didn't him to get the wrong idea about him. He told him he was born in a Midwest wealthy family and was educated in Oxford. He also said that after touring Europe he served as a major in the military.
2.) Jordan tells the truth to Nick about Daisy and Gatsby's past together, their relationship ended badly because they planned to get married but Gatsby decided to go to serve in the War. She claims Gatsby purposely choose his house so he would be close to Daisy. She also said that Gatsby wants her to convince him into forming a reunion between Daisy and Gatsby.
*I believe Jordan because I feel like Gatsby is hiding something and he's not telling the truth to Nick about his past.

Gatsby Chapter 3 Remix
In chapter 3 of "The Great Gatsby", I believe the most significant part was when Nick was casually talking to a man at the party. Yet not realizing he was talking to great man himself, Gatsby. I don't think he would've talked to him so confident if he knew he was talking to Gatsby. I feel like that's what we always do. We doubt ourselves, thinking we can't do certain things. But once we take the opportunity of trying, we realize it's not that bad. We should never doubt ourselves because who knows we could've been great at something, but we never took the risk.
